Boybeads for HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention- World AIDS Day

Statistics from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that of the estimated more than 1.1 million Americans living with HIV, almost 16% are unaware of their infection. Additionally, nearly 50,000 new HIV infections occur yearly in the United States. Although these numbers are quite striking, there are many more resources available for people living with HIV than in years past. Today there are many organization that strive to offer education, prevention and medicine to those who need it most. People with HIV can live long and healthy lives thanks to better medications and healthcare. We feel obligated to contribute to this wonderful and absolutely necessary cause in whatever way possible.

Boybeads has created a limited edition HIV/AIDS awareness bracelet collection to support an amazing non-profit organization, Whitman-Walker Clinic in Washington, DC.
