A white winter sounds lovely in theory. The initial hours of peaceful snowfall calms the mind and body alike. 

But beauty fades...Two days later, and we're all left with this.. Alas, the dirty, slushy aftermath of a snowstorm is a necessary part of the process.

 

 This collection is about recognizing the beauty in transformation- or the restructuring of matter into different forms. A marriage of rustic alloy metals, pure white howlite, vintage pyrite, nurturing mahogany wood. The blending of old and new. The steps of the life cycle. 

Howlite is a natural stone found in USA and Canada primarily known for its calming properties. It is used to decrease stress, anxiety and anger. It appears white and has random inclusions of silver/gray.
