BOYBEADS Autumn 2017 Collection Preview: Hues of Green

We are mere weeks away from autumn equinox, and the we are gearing up for the season with custom varieties of natural green stones from all around the world. Our most used stones in this collection are African jade/verdite, African jasper and kambaba jasper. This collection is all about grounding, peace of mind, love and personal growth.

Osu

Osu is incredibly intrigued by ancient books and has amassed a very impressive collection of rare, vintage books. His collection is locked in a fire-proof safe room and insured for several million dollars. Osu travels the globe attending private auctions and visiting libraries in search of more books for his collection. He is the most intellectual person anyone could ever imagine. Unfortunately, Osu does not talk much and has little interest in people. He lives alone with his border collie, Caesar, and rarely entertains guests. He finds most people unworthy of his company.

What does Om mean?
In Hinduism, Om (also spelled Aum) is a Hindu sacred sound that is considered the greatest of all mantras. The syllable Om is composed of the three sounds a-u-m (in Sanskrit, the vowels a and u combine to become o) and the symbol's threefold nature is central to its meaning. It represent several important triads:
* The three worlds - earth, atmosphere, and heaven
* The three major Hindu gods - Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva
* The three sacred Vedic scriptures - Rg, Yajur, and Sama
Thus Om mystically embodies the essence of the entire universe. This meaning is further deepened by the Indian philosophical belief that God first created sound and the universe arose from it. As the most sacred sound, Om is the root of the universe and everything that exists and it continues to hold everything together.

Advik is a young man who observes everything that happens around him. He stutters whenever he speaks because his brain is cluttered with so much information that he can't decide what to say first. Advik notices minute details about people and environments that others would surely overlook. He keeps a composition book by his side to record the most important observations of his day.

Although Lucas has achieved tremendous prosperity, he often finds himself lacking purpose in life. Where does he go next? What should he do with his time? What else is there to accomplish?

Rudy can sometimes overdo it and make his friends feel obligated to return the favor. However, Rudy never wants anything in return and rarely accepts gifts from others. He seems to thrive on sharing his blessings with others and that brings his fulfillment.

Sammy is a country boy at heart and he is proud of it! Sammy was raised in the secluded Ozark Mountains and is completely in love with his peaceful environment. He makes his own nut butters and only eats vegetables that grow in his garden.

Ronnie

Ronnie is a natural nurturer. He has a kind heart and feels most comfortable helping other people recover from bad moods, sickness or mental illness. Ronnie works as a grief counselor at a major hospital and has provided a shoulder to lean on for hundreds of people. Ronnie doesn't have a lot of disposable income, but his riches come from the gratitude of those he helps.

Sponge coral is a beautiful and uncommon form of coral. It is not solid red but has small specks of beige included. This is a very unique form of natural coral that forms in the deep waters of the ocean. Red coral is actually the skeleton of sea creatures called polyps that lived thousands of years ago and sank to the ocean floor to decompose.
